Madirakshi Mundle is an Indian model and TV and film actress. She made her debut with Telugu movie Ori Devudoy in 2015 which had a lackluster performance at the Box-office.

Later, in the same year, she went on to appear in Prime-time TV shows including Star Plus’ Siya ke Raam where she played the lead role of Sita. Currently, she plays Devi Parvati on Sony TV’s religious drama, Vighnaharta Ganesh.

Born in 1995, Madirakshi is 26 years old as of 2021. She was born in a middle-class Hindu family in the city of Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, India.

She went to a private school in the same city.

She was still in college when she started to build her modeling and acting portfolio. After completing her graduation from a college in Bhopal, she moved to Mumbai in 2014 to pursue acting full-time. She got engaged in various modeling projects and auditioned for several roles before she was offered the lead role of Amrutha in Telugu movie Ori Devudoy.

Madirakshi is married to Bhardwaj Mundle, a Gujarati businessman based in Hyderabad who recently relocated to Mumbai after Madirakshi landed her new role in Vighnaharta Ganesh. Madirakshi has not been very public about her marriage though and likes to keep her family life private.

Career

Madirakshi Mundle made her cinema debut with Telugu movie Ori Devudoy which failed at the Box-office. In the same year, Madirakshi was offered the lead role of Sita in Star Plus’ hit show Siya Ke Raam.

This show established her in the Indian TV industry as an A-list actress. She later appeared in Sony TV’s Jaat ki Jugni (2017) as Munni.

In 2018, she landed herself a cameo in Big Magic’s dramedy Tera Baap Mera Baap as Roopmati. She was offered the supporting role of Lakshami in Star Bharat’s religious drama Jag Janni Maa Vaishno Devi, which she accepted and appeared in many episodes of the show through 2019-20.

She has been largely appreciated in her roles as mythological characters and given her aplomb in such roles, she was offered a similar role of Parvati again in Sony TV’s show Vighnaharta Ganesh and appears as a lead in the series currently.

Madirakshi has avoided any controversy in her career so far. She shares a very cordial relationship with her co-stars and is best friends with most of them. She keeps sharing pictures of them from the set. Her marriage, however, has always been a constant source of mystery for her fans. But she later publicly admitted to having been happily married.
