Abhilasha Patil was an Indian actress who mainly worked in Marathi films. On Tuesday, 4 May 2021, she passed away after battling with COVID-19 complications.

Abhilasha was born on 21 August in Maharashtra. Her zodiac sign is Leo. She did her graduation at K. J. Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, Vidhyavihar, Mumbai. [1]

In 2013, she acted in the Marathi TV serial ‘Savar Re.’

She acted in various Hindi films like ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ (2017) ‘Chhichhore’ (2019), ‘Malaal’ (2019) and ‘Good Newwz’ (2019).

 

Abhilasha appeared in various Marathi films including ‘Te Aath Diwas’ (2015), ‘Pipsi’ (2018), ‘Bayko Deta Ka Bayko’ (2020), ‘Prawaas’ (2020), and ‘Tujha Majha Arrange Marriage’ (2021). Apart from Hindi and Marathi films, she acted in a few Telugu films also. Patil was featured in a few TV commercials including Mahindra Alfa, Dove, and Federal Bank.

 

Death

In 2021, she had gone to Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, for a film shoot, and after she returned to Mumbai, she was tested positive for the COVID-19 test. Owing to her critical health, she was admitted in the ICU. After battling with severe Coronavirus complications, she left the world on 4 May 2021. [2]
