Abhimanyu Singh is an Indian film and television actor. He played the role of ‘Bukka Reddy’ in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Rakhta Charitra’ in 2010.

He got married to his girlfriend, Sargam, in 2006. The couple is blessed with two children; one daughter, Amelie and one son, Zulu.
Career
He started his career as a theatre artist with the Makarand Deshpande’s theatre group ‘Ansh’ and worked as a model simultaneously. Later, he left Delhi and moved to Mumbai. The popular Bollywood actor, Manoj Bajpayee, once, saw his act in a theatre play and liked his performance. Later, Manoj talked to the Indian filmmaker, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra to cast Abhimanyu in his next film. Rakeysh auditioned him and offered him a role in the Bollywood film, Aks (2001).
He debuted in the Hindi TV serials with the 1997 serial, ‘Saturday Suspense- Junoon,’ aired on Zee TV. Some of his popular TV serials are ‘Kumkum- Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan’ (2002), ‘Kkusum’ (2003), ‘Saara Akaash’ (2003), and ‘Upanishad Ganga’ (2012).
Later, he acted in many Bollywood films, including ‘Jannat’ (2008), ‘Gulaal’ (2009), ‘Rakta Charitra’ (2010), ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ (2013), and ‘Sooryavanshi’ (2020).
He debuted in the Telugu films with the bi-lingual film, ‘Rakta Charitra’ in 2010. Some of his popular Telugu films are ‘Bejawada’ (2011), ‘Pandaga Chesko’ (2015), ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ (2017), and ‘Sita’ (2019). He has also worked in the Gujarati films, like ‘Premji: Rise of a Warrior’ (2015) and ‘G’ (2020).
He debuted in the Tamil films with ‘Velayudham’ in 2011. Thereafter, he went on to act in the Tamil films, like ‘Thalaivaa’ (2013), ‘Enradhukulla’ (2015), and ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ (2017).
In 2016, he appeared in the Kannada film ‘Chakravyuha.’ In 2018, he appeared as ‘Chacha Ji’ in the Zakir Khan’s web-series, ‘Chacha Vidhayak Hain Humare.’
In 2020, he acted in the MX Player’s web-series, ‘Bhaukaal.’
