Abhinav Shukla is a 39-years-old (born on 27 September 1982) Indian actor and model. He was born and raised in Ludhiana, Punjab. He has been a multi-talent since his childhood as he was not only good in studies, but also an active participant in several science exhibitions and sports events.
He never seriously thought of becoming an actor, but destiny had a different plan for him. When he was in college, his mother advised him to be fit as he used to be skinny. His mother encouraged him to work hard on his boy and looks, after which he took part in Gladrags Mr. India Contest 2004. It gave a new horizon to his career as he not only reached the top 6, but also won the Mr. Best Potential award.
Thereafter, he took up modelling for fun and easy pocket money, which eventually opened the doors for him in the Hindi TV industry, and he made the most of it.

Abhinav is a typical tall, fair and debonair Punjabi lad with a chiseled body, and has a good female fanbase for it. He is a gym enthusiast, has a height of 6′ and weighs around 80 kg. He has a broad chest to be around 42″ and biceps to be around 16.”
Family, Caste & Wife
Abhinav Shukla was born into a middle-class Hindu-Brahmin family with roots in Punjab. Being born to government employee parents, he had a smooth upbringing. His father, K.K. Shukla, worked as an Entomologist at Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana, whereas, his mother, Radha Shukla worked as a teacher at Guru Nanak Public School in Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana. He has an elder brother who works as a Naval Officer, whom he considers as his inspiration.
He first met his wife Rubina Dilaik in 2015 at a common friend’s house during Ganpati festival. It was love at first sight for Abhinav as he got completely mesmerized by her when he saw him in a sari. Later, he saw her photoshoots and asked her to let him do her photoshoot, and after a few interactions, the couple started dating each other.
After a courtship of 3 years, this beautiful couple finally tied the knot on 21 June 2018 in Shimla.
Career
Abhinav was always an excellent student and athlete, and did his schooling from Guru Nanak Public School in Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana, where his mother was a teacher. As he had an interest in Science, he did his B.Tech Course in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Engineering and Technology in Moga, Punjab. His successful stint at the Gladrags Mr. India Contest 2004 gave him a new career option as he started working as a model.
Modelling took him to Mumbai where he started his acting career with the sports-oriented TV show Jersey No. 10 in 2008, which despite being a good show didn’t do that well as drama shows were more in demand back then. After it, he was seen in various popular TV shows like- Geet, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Hitler Didi, Survivor India (season 1), and Diya Aur Baati Hum. He had a dream Bollywood debut as he got a chance to act in Salman Khan’s film Jai Ho (2014). Though his Bollywood breakthrough came 3 years later, in 2017 with Aksar 2 (2017), the sequel of Emraan Hashmi and Udita Goswami starring music-triller Aksar (2006).

- He is an adventure junkie and takes a lot of interest in trekking, travelling, biking, cycling, scuba diving, mixed martial arts, reading and photography.
