Aishwarya Verma is the fourth topper of the Indian UPSC civil services exam 2021.
Aishwarya Verma is from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. He completed his B.Tech in electrical engineering, and after this, he prepared for UPSC exams. Despite being an electrical engineer, he chose geography as his optional subject instead of Electrical engineering for the UPSC exams. His hard work paid off, and he became the fourth topper of the UPSC exams held in 2021.

- On May 30 2022, he became the fourth topper of UPSC exams held in 2021.
- After clearing the UPSC, he was asked what was his reaction when the results were out. He said,
It took me some time to digest this information. It was a pleasure to see my name in the merit list at number four. Things that study continuously for 16-16 hours a day are not correct.’
- After the announcement of the results, everyone read the toppers’ list and referred to him as she/her. Twitter hailed girl power for all the top four rankers being females. After this, a tweet was made by a journalist who clarified that the fourth ranker Aishwarya Verma is a male candidate.

- In a short interview with Aaj Tak, he also spoke about how he has been teased for his name since childhood and said,
People always teased me for my name. I always tried to explain this to everyone. I thought that after growing up, one day I would come on TV and tell people that my name Aishwarya is not Aishwarya.
