Career Path
She began her singing profession at the age of 9 and starts performing in local events and festivals and wedding celebrations in her residence.
Then she got the chance to work with Punjabi singer ‘Didar Sandhu’ and made her first recording song when she was just 13 years old in 1981.
In 1988, she also entered the acting industry and made her first TV serial “Echo Hamara Jeevna” which directed by Gurbir Singh Grewal.
Then she constantly worked in various Punjabi films such as Gabhroo Punjab Da (1986), Zakhmi Sher (1996), Jee Aayan Nu (2003), Dil Apna Punjabi (2006), Daddy Cool Munde Fool (2013).
She has sung many famous songs like ‘Boliyan’(1993), ‘Brandy Charth Gayi’ (2010), ‘Kala Doriya Kunda Naal’, ‘Mera Ashiq Ludda’ and ‘Lathe Di Chadar’.
In 2019, she has sang Punjabi song with her husband Salaami which produced by the Planet Recordz.
She also appeared in various live concerts and events for her performance due to which she received critically acclaimed by the audience.

She was born in a middle-class and music lover family on 23 May 1967 in Ropar, Punjab. Her father Roshan Sagar was a singer.
Since her childhood days, she has huge interest in singing due to which she participated in various singing competition & won many prizes and become popular singer in her school.
At the age of 9 she decided to pursue her career in singing, and then she fully entered in music. Then she never turned back until she did not succeed in her goal.
Her father also taught some singing skills which she implementing in her career and make her good singer at an early age.
In 1986, she met first time singer Sardool Sikander and started work together due to which both were fell in love to each other.
And later, she married with her boyfriend Sardool Sikander in 30 January1993, and they blessed with two sons Sarang Sikander and Allap Sikander.
