Amika Shail was born on 12 November 1992 in Howrah, West Bengal, she was very fond of classical music since childhood. Amika started her singer career at the age of 5. Amika Shail also started her career as a singer. She grew up with musical talent from her mother when she was 9 years old, when she first appeared in the television show Little Champs. She then appeared in the Bengali version of SaReGaMaPa. Amika did her studies from the University of Calcutta. After graduation, she moved to Mumbai. In Mumbai, she features Saregamapa, Indian Idol and Voice of India in singing. After a successful career in singing and music, Amika also began auditioning for television shows. She made her debut with the Colors TV show Udaan in 2014.

Personal Life of Amika Shail
Amika Shail appeared on the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lim Champs, she managed to put herself in the top 10 list. In 2006, she took to the stage of the Bengali version of SaReGaMaPa and impressed the judges and the public.
Amika Shail has also sung the theme song of the IPL in 2016. Amika also participated in other shows like Naagin, Divya Drishti and Balveer Returns. She made her marriage debut with the film Wedding Anniversary.
