Ashish was born on 8 December 1993 (age 26 years; as in 2019) in Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra. [1] Ashish was passionate about acting since his childhood. His father owned a single screen theatre and so, he grew up watching Bollywood movies.

Career
After completing his schooling, Ashish got enrolled in Datta Meghe College of Engineering, Navi Mumbai, to pursue Civil Engineering. He started his own YouTube channel, Ashish Chanchlani Vines in 2014. Before he became a YouTuber, Ashish used to share his videos on various social media platforms. He left his studies in between to focus on his YouTube channel. His YouTube channel accumulated over 8.7 million subscribers by the end of the year 2018. He also took admission in Barry John Acting Studio, Mumbai, to brush up his acting skills. In 2016, Ashish made his TV debut with the show, Pyaar tune Kya Kia. Many Bollywood stars like Shahid Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, etc, have collaborated with Ashish Chanchlani in order to promote their films.
In 2018, Ashish won Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award for Best Digital Influencer.
