Yes. I always loved performing on stage right from school. In fact, I had written a letter to my parents that I wanted to act even when I was 14! I couldn’t muster the courage to tell them on the face, but they both agreed.

Bhumika Chheda made her television debut with the television show Thumari- Ek Parampara (2016). She has appeared in various other Indian TV serials including Veera (2012), Jodha Akbar (2013), and Mann Mein Vishwas Hai (2006). Some of her other Hindi television shows include Savdhaan India, India Fights Back and Halla Bol. In an interview, when she was asked about playing numerous supporting roles she said,

Certainly, when you play a lead character, there’s a lot of responsibility on your shoulders. You are one of the reasons for the show being a hit or a miss. However, having said that, supporting actors are also equally important to take the story forward. Also, many lead actors have played supporting roles early in their careers which gave them the mileage to reach where they are today.

Reportedly, Bhumika Chheda took a break from college to pursue her acting career. In an interview, she said,

I used to travel from my hometown, Dahanu, to Mumbai, give auditions and go back. I took a break from college and resumed again. I gradually got good roles to play. I feel if you love your job, and you have the passion for it, then nothing else matters. I love my journey!
