Brandon kicked his career off with his brief appearance in the 2001 film “Nikita Blues” where he was cast as Tyrone.

Then in Michael Mann’s 2001 biopic on Muhammad Ali which was tilted as Ali, Brandon made another brief appearance as a Club Goer. In Curtis Hanson’s 2002 musical drama film, 8 Mile, he made another small appearance as Chin Tiki Club Goer.

He then got a somewhat noticeable role in Malcolm D. Lee’s comedy-drama film from the same year Roll Bounce, where he portrayed the character of Junior.
