Dianna Williams is an American choreographer, author, and entrepreneur. She is popularly known as ‘Miss D’ and is famous for her dance reality show Bring It! (2014).

Dianna Williams was born on Friday, December 1, 1978 (age 41 years; as in 2019), in Jackson, Mississippi. Her zodiac sign is Saggitarius. She started learning dance at the age of four. She studied Ballet, Ballet Point, Beginner and Advanced Jazz, Modern Dance, Belly Dance, and Beginner and Advanced Tap at Angie Luke School of Dance, Clinton. She graduated from Jackson State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in May 2005. While studying, she was also a member of the dance teams – Eye of the Tiger Drill Team (1982-88), Dancing Dolls Drill Team (1989-91), and Captain of the California State Dominguez Hills University Cheerleading Squad from (1997-98).

Career
In 2001, she began working at the City of Jackson as a Recreation Aide and the Dance Instructor for the entire North side of Jackson. The same year, she started Dancing Dolls Dance Team at Pied Piper Playhouse, Jackson.

In 2002, she began building a dance program at Grove Park; it came to be known as Grove Park Dancerettes. The class developed tremendously with its members of middle and high school dance teams, members of community groups, and members of collegiate dance squads. The Dance Program at Grove Park grew, and by the time, she departed to Georgia from the City of Jackson, classes were offered for Beginner Jazz Funk, Hip-Hop, Beginner and Advanced Tap, Majorette Dance, Alternative Dance (Advanced Jazz & Advanced Majorette mixed), Pre- Tap & Pre- Jazz for ages 5-18. She stayed in Atlanta for a brief time. She then worked as a choreographer at Callaway High School Chargettes (2006-2008), Choreographer for the Prancing Diamonds (also funder; 2007), Vice President and Choreographer of the Jackson Association for Majorettes, Member of the JSU Modeling Squad, Costume Designer for the Jackson State University Twirlers (2004-2009), and Jackson State University Banner Girls (2007-2012). She opened her dance studio by the name Dollhouse Dance Factory on August 23, 2010, and its first batch had 23 students enrolled in its 1st semester. With the time, the studio grew, and its branches were opened in Atlanta in Georgia and Birmingham in Alabama.

Bring It!
On March 5, 2014, she came with Bring It!, an American dance reality show on Lifetime. The show revolves around Dianna and her dance studio ‘Dollhouse Dance Factory.’ The teams compete in hip-hop majorette competitions, and their focus is on Stand Battle (a routine where two teams face each other and alternate “stands” (routines), which are called by the captain depending on what stand the other team performs).

- After her graduation from Jackson State University, she interned as a Juvenile Justice system.
- In her teens, Diana Williams was engaged in creating adult content. However, she walked away from the adult industry later to focus on her dance career.
- After having her son, she moved with her family to Atlanta, Georgia due to her husband’s transfer. However, things did not go well for them in Atlanta, and her husband lost his job. As a result, they had to sell their material wealth, such as cars. Later, her family moved back to Jackson where she started her dance studio and began working as a dancer.
- In 2019, she published an autobiography titled ‘Standing in the Shade.’
