Dr Gurpreet Kaur is an Indian doctor who is known for being the second wife of the 17th Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann.

Dr Gurpreet Kaur was born in 1990 (age 32 years; as of 2022) in Pehowa, Haryana. As of 2022, her family lives in Tilak Colony, Ward-5, Pehowa, Haryana. From 2013 to 2018, she pursued MBBS from Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana, Ambala, Haryana. She was a gold medallist in MBBS. [1] She then started practising as a physician in a hospital in Mohali, Punjab.

Her father, Inderjit Singh Natt, is a farmer, who has also served as the sarpanch of Madanpur village, Punjab. Her father holds Canadian citizenship. Her mother, Raj Harjinder Kaur, is a homemaker. Gurpreet has two elder sisters, and both of them are married. Her sister Navneet Kaur (Neeru) lives in America, and her other sister Kamaljeet Kaur (Jaggu) lives in Australia.
Husband
In 2019, while Bhagwant Mann was campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections, he met Gurpreet for the first time through his parents. She was also invited as the special guest at the oath ceremony of Bhagwant Mann as the 17th Chief Minister of Punjab in 2022. Reportedly, Bhagwant Mann’s mother and sister fixed the marriage of Bhagwant Mann and Gurpreet. It is also said that the marriage was planned for 2021, but due to some unavoidable circumstances, their marriage was delayed. On 7 July 2022, she got married to Bhagwant Mann, who was divorced from his first wife Inderpreet Kaur. Bhagwant and Gurpreet have an age difference of almost 16 years. The wedding ceremony took place in Gurudwara Sahib Ji Patshahi Dasvin, Sector 8, Chandigarh.

Gurpreet has two step-children from her husband’s first marriage, a step-son, Dilshan Mann, and a daughter, Seerat Kaur Mann.

Her paternal uncle (her father’s cousin brother), Gurvinder Singh Natt, is an advocate and a politician of the Aam Aadmi Party.
