Career Path
Farhan at the age of 17 worked as a film distributer for director Yash Raj Chopra and spent 3 years in advertisement production house in 1991.
Later he become assistants and worked in some films like Lame and Himalya Putra in 1997.
He wrote first debut film Dil Chahta Hai in 2001 and received critically acclaimed by the audience and for the movie shooting he was visited in Sydney.
He also featured in Femina Miss India beauty contest in 2002 as one of the nine judges and his mind fell on models and in dance reality show Nach Baliye also a judge.
In 2006, Farhan directed the remake film Don starring Saha Rukh Khan and hit on box-office of the year.
He also got offered for film “Rang De Basanti” but he denied because he was interested in acting, then Aamir Khan was signed the movie in 2006.
He acting and singing in film Rock On!! In 2008 then he produced and played role in movie Karthik Calling Karthik with stared Deepika Padukone in which he used Puzzle cube after the film he become addicted and craziness was built for Rubik’s cube and solve it everyplace eve n parties, meetings and during film shoots.
Akhtar produced the film Zindagin Na Milegi Dobara and also played a role in his movie along with stars Harithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Katrina Kaif.
In 2013, his biopic film Bhaag MIlkha Bhaag on athlete MIlkha Singh and he also met Indian Athlete MIlkha Singh for research and he trained himself 18 months to play the role of MIlkha the Flying Sikh.

Personal Life (Bio History)
He was born in Mumbai on 9 January 1974, he born in Urdu poetry family his grandfather was a good poet and writer who learned from his great-grand father Muztar Khairabadi.
He was completed his schooling from Mumbai but he does not completed his college degree due to the shortage of attendance in 2nd year than he quit the study.
Since his childhood he has huge crush towards acting and he was played with gun as a hero and spent his time in searching of villains at around his house and his sister told in interview he was a good liar and stolen her money many times.
Before the age of puberty he was a very naughty guy and sometime he did stupid and nonsense things at his home, his mom told his story while she was busy in meeting, Farhan came in her meeting room and asked to bath then she agreed and then she found unbelievable work he had done that he used her bed as a bathroom, tub and bucket was on the bed.
His parents got divorced when he was just touch the adulthood age and his father was married with actress Shabana Azmi in 1984.
Farhan got married with girlfriend Adhuna in 2000 after the 3 years of dating; she was 7 years elder then Farhan he met first time during film DIl Chahta Hai.
After long relationship around 16 years he was separated in 2016 and later he caught with actress Shraddha Kapoor in late night.
Now he was engaged with Shibani Dandekar who is VJ and actress and they married very soon.
