Govind Namdev is one of the finest actors of the Bollywood film industry who was born on 3rd September 1954, hailing from India and has been constantly winning the hearts of many with his remarkable performances. He has acted in many movies and played a variety of roles from humorous to negative. Fortunately, his fans noted him for each role he plays in movies. He made his debut movie “Shola Aur Shabnam” which was directorial of the famed film director David Dhawan. While the film was released in the year 1992. He is a well-trained actor and took acting classes from the National School of Drama in 1977. Later, he worked for 12 to 13 years as an actor at the NSD Repertory Company.

Career

In 1992, Govind Namdev took the start of his acting career with a Bollywood debut movie “Shola Aur Shabnam” which was directed by the notable film director David Dhawan. Since then, he frequently appeared in many movies and some of his best movies are “Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani” starring Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla, “Thakshak” starring Raveena Tandon, “Pukar”, starring Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit Nene, “Raju Chacha” (home production) starring Ajay Devgan and Kajol, “Virasat” starring Anil Kapoor, Tabu and Pooja Batra, “Mast” starring Aftab Shivdasani and Urmila Matondkar,” Sarfarosh” starring Amir Khan and Sonali Bendre,” Qayamat”, “Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hun”, and others that are worth sharing. However, he has acted in more than 75 movies so far and the best is, all those movies became most watched and popular. Govind Namdev played each role perfectly from humorous to negative as he mostly portrayed the roles of the villain.
