Career

June Malia started her acting career in 1996 with the Bengali Film “Lathi.” Subsequently, she appeared in Bengali films like “Nil Nirjane,” “Podokkhep,” “Box No. 1313,” “Teen Yaari Katha,” “Ebar Shabor,” and “Zulfiqar.”

 

In 2008, she featured in the documentary “Out in India: A Family’s Journey.”

 

She made her television debut in 2011 by hosting the season 3 of the Bengali game show “Didi No. 1.” June has also appeared in the web series “Virgin Mohito.” In 2018, she played a negative character in the Bengali family drama “Resham Jhanpi.” She was widely appreciated for playing the antagonist in the daily soap.

 

 

 

In 2019, she played the role of the mother-in-law of ‘Tuku’ (lead character) in the Bengali film “Sweater.”
