- In 2014, Kavita starred in the controversial film “Main Hoon Rajinikanth.” Before the release of the film, the South Indian actor, Rajinikanth approached the Madras High Court to stop the release and screening of the film. However, later the film was released with the name “Main Hoon (Part-Time) Killer.”
- Kavita Radheshyam landed into a controversy for her anti-LGBT comments after the killing of 49 people inside a gay nightclub in Orlando in 2016. The actress posted on Twitter: “Felt Very Sad About #OrlandoShooting.. Aren’t #LGBT Against Nature? Whatever Is Against Nature, Shouldn’t Live..”
