Kiran started his career as a theatre artist. He has played small roles in various Hindi films like ‘Rangeela’ (1995) and ‘Satya’ (1998). He has also acted in the famous Hindi daily soap ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ (2000) aired on Star Plus. In the show, he played the role of Ketki Dave. In 2022, he was roped in the SAB TV sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ to play the role of Nattu Kaka which was earlier played by the Indian actor Ghanshyam Nayak. Ghanshyam and Kiran had worked in various drama shows. Apart from acting, Kiran has also produced and directed various Gujarati theatre plays. He directed the Gujarati play ‘Sagpan Tane Saal Mubarak’ in 2022.
