Lacey Chabert is an established American actress who is best known for starring in the films Not Another Teen Movie (2001) and Mean Girls (2004) and the television series Party of Five (1994–2000). She struck stardom with the telefilms like All of My Heart: Inn Love (2017), Love, Romance & Chocolate (2019), and Christmas Waltz (2020), which premiered on Hallmark Channel.

On December 22, 2013, Lacey Chabert secretly got married to her longtime boyfriend, David Nehdar. In 2014, she posted a tweet that read,

I’m starting off 2014 as a Mrs! Over the holidays, my best friend and love of my life we became husband & wife! #soblessed #love.”

Since childhood, she was inclined towards acting and secured herself a role in a cough syrup commercial at a very young age. At the age of seven, before making her debut on the big screen, she played the role of Cosette in the Broadway musical ‘Les Misérables’ for two years.


Lacey Chabert made her telefilm debut with A Little Piece of Heaven (1991) in which she played the role of Princess, aka ‘Hazal.’ Later, she gained popularity when she started appearing in a series of Hallmark Channel’s telefilms. She starred in Hallmark’s film series All of My Heart (2015-2018) in which she played the role of Jenny Fintley, a young woman who inherits a house in Bucks County and develops an unexpected friendship with her co-owner.

In 2019, she played the role of ‘Emma’ in the film ‘Love, Romance and Chocolate,’ which premiered as a part of the Valentine’s Day countdown on the Hallmark channel. The storyline of the film revolves around the budding romance between Emma Colvin, an accountant who takes a solo trip to Belgium after her breakup, and Luc Simon, a renowned chocolatier.

Lacey Chabert made her television debut in 1992 with ‘All My Children’ in which she played the role of Bianca Montgomery. She rose to prominence with the Golden Globe Award-winning drama series Party of Five (1994–2000) in which she played one of the protagonists Claudia Salinger, a skillful violinist who struggles to build a life after being orphaned.

In 1997, Lacey began her journey as a voiceover artist when she lent her voice in the film ‘Journey Beneath the Sea’ for the character of ‘Merla.’ Thereafter, she worked as a voiceover artist in various films like The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride (1998) and Scooby-Doo! Mecha Mutt Menace (2013) and television series The Wild Thornberrys (1998) and Family Guy (1999). In October 1996, she was among the celebrities who dished out meals in the third-annual Celebrity Server Dinner, with proceeds benefiting the Homeless Health Care Los Angeles, a harm reduction organization in the US. On October 11, 1998, Lacey paid for meals worth 250 USD in the fifth-annual Celebrity Server Dinner, which was held at the Palm Restaurant in Los Angeles. The proceeds benefitted Victory over Violence, a movement that inspired people to identify and counteract the root causes of violence. In 2011, she was associated with Angel 34, a non-profit organization that helps kids struggling with cancer.  In 2020, Lacey Chabert took part in the virtual fundraising event “Hope Shines No-Show Glow,” organized by Rochester Hills-based New Day Foundation for Families.
