Lalit Yadav was born on Friday, 3 January 1997 (age 24 years; as of 2021) in Najafgarh, New Delhi. His zodiac sign is Capricorn. Lalit began playing cricket at a very young age, and he played his first Under-12 match in Delhi for Delhi Public School, Dwarka. He began practicing for more tournaments and completed his schooling at the National Institute of Open Schooling in 2015. After completing his schooling, he went to Swami Shraddhanand College, Delhi University to earn a bachelor’s degree.

Career

After completing his formal education, Lalit Yadav began his career as a cricketer. He made his debut in first-class cricket in November 2017 with Ranji Trophy. In January 2018, Lalit made his Twenty20 debut for the Delhi cricket team as a batsman for the 2017-2018 Zonal T20 League. Lalit Yadav participated in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in January 2018, and the team won the tournament. During one of the local T20 tournaments, Lalit Yadav hit six sixes in an over two times in a match. Lalit Yadav was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs. 20 lakhs for the Indian Premier League 2020. In February 2020, Lalit Yadav was appointed a tax accountant at the Income Tax Department, Government of India.
