She was born in lower-class family in Trivandram, Kerala on 21 December 1992, she completed her schooling from the Holy Angels’ Convent Higher Secondary School, Trivandrum.

Career Path
In 2007, Lekshmi started her career as a singer but she worked as a radio presenter for the Best FM 95. She also appeared as an anchor for the TV channel Asianet Cable Vision.
Then she joined another News channel in 2015 and starts worked as a Public Relations Officer for Raj News Malayalam.
She took part in the singing reality TV show Indian Idol 10 in 2018, she impressed the judges due to showing her extraordinary singing talent that during the audition she sang in both male and female verses of the Bollywood movie ‘The Dirty Picture’ song Ooh La La.
In 2021, she participated in the reality show Malayalam Bigg Boss in season 3 as a contestant. She got the chance to met various famous contestants like Majiziya Bhanu, Ramzan Muhammed, RJ Firoz, etc.
Jayan showed her live performance in various events and concerts and she performed well and gained huge fame from it.
