Nishant Dahiya is an Indian film actor and a model. He has worked in multiple films with many well-known actors like Ranveer Singh and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Nishant Dahiya was born on Friday, 4 January 1991 (age 29 years; as of 2020) in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. His father is a retired Indian Army Officer, so during his childhood, he travelled to various places across India with his father. He pursued B.Tech. in computer science & engineering at Kurukshetra University, Haryana. [1] During his college days, he developed an interest in modelling. So, he auditioned for Grasim Mr India (2006), and he was graced as the first runner up and won the best smile and Mr Photogenic titles. He gained confidence from his achievement and further planned to pursue his career in modelling. He later shifted to Mumbai to fulfil his desire of becoming an actor.

Nishant’s father’s name is Rajendra Singh. He is a retired Indian Army officer, and his mother, Urmila, is a homemaker. Nishant has one elder brother, Prashant Dahiya, who is also an Indian Army officer, he has one younger brother, Aryan Dahiya, and one younger sister, Shivani Dahiya.

Career

Nishant, after completing his education, he pursued modelling in Mumbai. He began with various advertisements and TV commercials. After appearing in multiple advertisements, he tried his hand in acting, and he was first given a chance by the Yash Raj Films.

Film

He made his acting debut with the Bollywood film Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge in 2011 in which he played the role of ‘Rahul Sareen.’ He went on to fetch roles in many movies such as Titoo MBA in 2014 in which he played the role of protagonist Titoo, Meri Pyaari Bindu in 2017,  Kedarnath in 2018, Rat Akeli Hai in 2020, and 83, which is slated to be released in 2021. He is said to play the role of former Indian cricketer Roger Binny in the movie, who is also known to be ‘the leading wicket-taker of the 83 World Cup.’
