He rose to fame after he appeared as a contestant on Salman Khan hosted Indian reality television game show ‘Bigg Boss Season 15.’ Although he attracted a large audience with his entry in the show but he got evicted with in a few weeks, After coming out of the Bigg Boss house, when questioned about his eviction, he said,
I was the only one playing the game with my brain. Almost every contestant and the audience would agree that I played intelligently. Some of the guests who came on the show spoilt my game. Even before I could play my game, people were told about it. I feel that was unfair to me. Many others are also playing their game, but every time my plan was revealed.”
In one of his interviews, Vishal revealed that he will getting engaged to his girlfriend Payal Shetty in 2022. Although Vishal has made an announcement about the engagement, but the couple doesn’t seem to talk about their relation publically. When asked about it, Vishal Kotian replied,
Pyaar jab hota hai toh dikhane ki zarurat nahi. We both are very private people. We never deny our relationship, but never go out and talk about it. In terms of acting, she has bagged a lead role in a Sanskrit language historical film ‘Sakuntalam.’ The Dushyanth Sridhar directed film features Shubham Sahrawat and Payal Shetty in the leading roles. The film is based on Kalidasa’s work Abhigyaan Shakuntalam. Payal Shetty is playing the character of Shakuntala, the daughter of sage Vishvamitra and damsel Menaka.
