In 2008, Payodhi started her career at CNEB, where she worked for almost two years. She joined as a Former assistant producer at India news on 10 August 2012. She worked in India news for four years, after which she joined News nation as a Former associate producer on 11 February 2016. After working with News nation for two years, she joined as an anchor and producer on Zee News on 20 November 2018.
