Revathi Advaithi was born on Wednesday, 18 October 1967( age 53; as of 2021) in India. She grew up in India. Revathi Advaithi did mechanical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology Pilani, Rajasthan, India, in 1986. In 2003, Revathi pursued MBA from Thunderbird Globe of Management, United States. Revathi began her career as a shop floor supervisor on a factory floor in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Revathi Advaithi’s father’s name was Late A.N.N Swamy. He was a chemical engineer. Her mother’s name is Visalam Swamy, who is a homemaker. Before getting settled in Chennai, Revathi’s family also lived in Bihar, Gujrat, and Assam. Revathi Advaithi has four sisters. When Revathi was young, she lost her father. After the death of her father, there was no source of income, but apart from this, Revathi’s mothers raised all the five girls and gave them a good education.

Revathi Advaithi’s husband’s name is Jeevan Mulgund. He is the Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain Strategy at Honeywell International. Revathi and Jeevan met in Hutchinson, a city in Kansas, United States. They got married in the year 1998. Revathi and Jeevan have two children, a son, Pranav, who is 16 years old, and, a daughter, Lakshmi.

Career

Revathi Advaithi started her career as a shop floor supervisor on a factory floor in Shawnee, Oklahoma. In 1995, Revathi Advaithi joined Eaton, a management company in England, as the Plant Manager. Further, she was into various job roles there.

In Honeywell

In 2002, Revathi shifted to Honeywell International, and she worked there for almost 6 years. She joined as a director in Global sourcing in the year 2002. In 2006, she was promoted as the general manager in Automation control. [1]

In Eaton

In 2008, Revathi Advaithi joined as a general manager in Eaton, which is a power management company. She then served as the President, of Asia Pacific,  Electrical Sector, Shangai, China, in July 2009, and in August 2012, she was appointed as the President of, the American Regions, Electrical sector. Later, she got promoted as the Chief operating officer of Eatons Electrical sector, in September 2015. [2]

In Flex

Revathi Advaithi, because of her exceptional leadership skills was appointed as the Chief Executive officer and board of directors in Flex, in 2019. Revathi’s responsibility in Flex was designing the company’s strategic direction and to lead the organization in the new era of manufacturing. [3]
