Robin Sharma was born on Tuesday, 16 June 1964 (age 52 years; as of 2021) in Uganda, a country in East Africa. His hometown is Winnipeg in Manitoba Canada. When Robin was one year old, his family moved to Canada According to Robin Sharma, he grew up in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, a small town on the East Coast of Canada.

Robin did LLB and LLM degrees from Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University, Canada. [1] After completing his studies, Robin worked as a litigation lawyer. At the age of 25, he gave up his law practice, and he self-published Mega Living (1994), a book on stress management and spirituality. Before joining the Government of Canada as a litigation lawyer, Robin worked at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia as a judicial clerk. Robin’s desire to write made him write his first book “Megaliving: 30 Days to a Perfect Life” in 1994, edited by his mother, and it was published in 1995; however, it wasn’t a success. Instead of the failure of his first book, he did not give up, and he went on to write his second book “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari,” which became an international bestseller by selling copies of around three million; the book was translated into 51 more languages.
