- Sachin Baby’s father, PC Baby, is a Cricket fanatic. He was so obsessed with Sachin Tendulkar that he decided to name his “baby” after him.
- Though a fine batsman, Baby took 25 matches to score his maiden century in first-class cricket, an unbeaten 200 against Hyderabad.
- Baby made his IPL debut with the Rajasthan Royals in 2013. However, he got a chance to bat in only one of the four matches that he played where he scored only 3. The following seasons resulted in a disappointment for him as he went unsold each time.
