Shailesh Lodha is a multi-skilled person whose skills are not just limited to acting, yet he is also a great writer and comedian as well. He has acted in many projects and became famous for his role of Tarak Mehta in the top-most, popular comedy serial “Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma” which has been airing in the year 2008. He was born and grew up in Jodhpur and often travelled because of his father’s postings. He did graduation in Science and later, Post Graduate in Marketing. After completing his studies, he then worked at an office, but he found nothing fascinating and left the job. Afterward, he started writing poems.

Career

Initially, Shailesh Lodha took the start of his career with a Comedy Circus where he appeared as a contestant and later, he appeared in Comedy Ka Mahamuqabla. Also, he has been working in the most popular comedy serial “Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma” since 2008. In the serial, he appeared as Taarak Mehta as real-life Columnist Taarak Mehta. Alongside this, he appeared in many serials for which he got huge acclaim. From 2012 to 2013, he also made an appearance in the serial named “Wah Wah Kia Bat Hai” which was aired on SAB TV. In 2019, Shailesh Lodha also worked in the comedy movie named “Wig Boss” in which he worked alongside Sunil Pal and Rakhi Sawant. Apart from acting, he has also built his career in the field of writing. He wrote four books; first two are satirical humor, and thirs one is self-help book co-written with his wife, and another book named “Diljale Ka Facebook Status” in a collection of poems written from the jilted lover’s point of view. Moreover, he is a victor of several awards including National Srijan Award and many more.
