Sheetal Thakur is an Indian actress and model. She is the wife of the film and television actor Vikrant Massey. She is known for her roles in the films “Lootera” (2013) and “Bambukat” (2016).

Sheetal Thakur was born on Wednesday, 13 November 1991 (age 30 years; as in 2019) in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.

Her zodiac sign is Scorpio. She did her schooling from Chandigarh’s St. Xavier’s Senior Secondary School and went to the University of Delhi to pursue B.Tech. in Information Technology. While in college, she participated in the beauty pageant “Femina Miss Himachal Pradesh.” She won the competition and even bagged the tag of “Beautiful Smile” in the contest.

Subsequently, she started receiving modelling offers from various brands. She, then, started working as an engineer in Havels in Delhi. Side-by-side, Sheetal also did many modelling projects.

On 14 February 2022, she had a registered marriage with Vikrant Massey. [1] In November 2019, Sheetal got engaged to Vikrant Massey (actor) after dating him for about 4 years. While confirming the news of their engagement, Vikrant said,

Yes, we had a very small private function. I would talk about marriage and everything but at the right time.”

On 18 February 2022, the couple tied the knot in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony in Himachal Pradesh.

Career

Sheetal started her career as a model in 2012 by doing print shoots and television commercials for brands like “Airtel,” “e-future,” “Sony-Ericsson,” “HomeShop18,” and “ICICI Bank.” However, she wasn’t satisfied with modelling and wanted to do something more creative. So, she started giving auditions for TV serials and films. In 2016, she made her acting debut by playing the role of ‘Sammi’ in the Punjabi film “Bambukat.”

Sheetal has walked the ramp for Satya Paul and has done Jewellery shoot for the jewellery designer, Ruhee Nanda.

She has also appeared in many web series including “Upstarts” (Netflix), “Brij Mohan Amar Rahe” (Netflix), and “Chhappad Phaad Ke” (Hotstar).
