Sidhu Moosa Wala was shot dead in Punjab a day after his security was withdrawn. He was born and brought up in Moosa village in the Mansa district of Punjab. His father’s name was Bhola Singh and Mother is Charan Kaur. He studied at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College Ludhiana.

• He began listening to hip-hop music in sixth grade and studied music with Harvinder Bittu in Ludhiana.
• He started his career writing lyrics for the song ‘License’ sung by Ninja, and began singing for a duet song titled ‘G Wagon’.
• After collaborating with Brown Boys on various tracks, he gained attention with the track ‘So High’.
• Moose Wala released his first album, PBX 1, in 2018, which peaked at 66th on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart.
• He actively campaigned for his mother, Charan Kaur, who won the village sarpanch election from Moosa village in December 2018.
• Both Moose Wala and Karan Aujla have been replying to each other through their songs, social media handles, and live performances.
• In December 2020, Sidhu released a song titled “Panjab” in which he protested against farm laws without mentioning the militant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale or his call for taking arms against the Indian state.
