Career
Sonali did LLB and LLM from Amity Law School, Delhi during 2001-2006 and then became a professional lawyer.
Sonali Jaitley came into limelight during the general elections of 2019 when she sent a defamation notice to AAP leaders, Arvind Kejriwal, Atishi Marlena and Manish Sisodia on behalf of BJP’s East-Delhi candidate, Gautam Gambhir.
Controversy
Sonali Jaitley was accused of taking Rs. 24 lakh on 20 February 2018 from the fugitive businessman, Mehul Choksi. For this, Congress party blamed Sonali’s father, Arun Jaitley, who was the Union Minister at that time and demanded his resignation.
