Career

Tyson tasted his first instances of fame when he formed the band named All-American Rejects along with his schoolmates back in 1999. The band primarily consisted of Tyson, Jesse Tabish, and Nick Wheeler.

He initially discovered the other bandmates after hearing them play at a gathering. They required a bassist, and he opted to contribute regardless of the knowledge that he had never driven a bass guitar before.

He devoted his entire Holiday period practicing how to handle bass professionally and ultimately rejoined the group when he seemed safe sufficiently.

Tabish discontinue the band shortly after its establishment and recruits Mike Kennerty and Chris Gaylor emerged.

‘All-American Rejects’ was selected as a title since “it was a peculiar title that seemed nice.” In 2002, the group signed with indie Doghouse Records and published their self-titled maiden studio album, ‘The All-American Rejects.’ Despite middling critiques, they were fortunate to negotiate an agreement with DreamWorks Records, who re-released their maiden record.
