Vishal Kotian was born on Wednesday, 13 February 1985 (age 36 years; as of 2021) in Dagdi Chawl in Mumbai. [1] His zodiac sign is Aquarius.

Vishal has pursued MBA in Marketing. [2] He was born into a poor family and was brought up in a locality in Mumbai that lacked basic civic amenities. According to Vishal, the area also lacked in terms of education as there was no educational institution in the area. To earn money and pay his school fees, Vishal used to sell the tickets of Salman Khan`s movies in black at  ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ theatre in Mumbai when he was 12 years old. [3]

• Vishal was removed from the show named ‘Partners’ in 2017. He accused comedian and actor Kiku Sharda of getting him out of the show. According to him, Kiku had used his fame for this. He also added that Kiku wanted to keep the focus on himself in the show. Kiku was also accused of changing the name of the show. Later, Kiku denied all the allegations against him. [5]

• In May 2022, Vishal faced a backlash from the netizens for releasing the song ‘Jeena Zaroori Hai,’ the last song on which Sidharth Shukla worked, online. The netizens criticised him for not seeking prior permission from Sidharth’s family to release the song. The song was reportedly shot in 2019. [6]
