Vivek Agnihotri Personal Information
Vivek Agnihotri was born on 27 December 1973 in Gwalior Madhya Pradesh. His father Dr. Prabhuram Agnihotri was a professor as well as head of the department of Sanskrit at Maharani Laxmi Bai college Gwalior. He studied at the school of social science of Bhopal University, later he completed his studies at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Delhi. After completing his studies he came to Mumbai and started making ad films. Vivek Agnihotri got married to Indian TV Actress and artist Pallavi Joshi in the year 1990.

- He started his career by making ad films for renowned brands like Vicks, Gillette, Coke, etc. In the year 1994 he started producing television serials, he has directed and produced more than 300 hours of prime television shows.
- In the year 2005, he made his Bollywood debut as a director of the movie ‘Chocolate’. This movie proved to flop at the box office.
- He directed the sports-oriented film Dhana Dhana Dhan Gol in 2007 this movie also proved to flop at the box office.

Controversy
- Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri was in the middle of the controversy in the year 2018 when actress Tanushree Dutta put an allegation of passing a lewd comment to him.
- In September 2018 Twitter handle of Mr. Agnihotri got temporarily blocked by Twitter because of demeaning his reply to Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar’s Tweet, later he deleted and clarified that tweet.
- In May 2020 he again made headlines by posting a gang rape tweet along with the photo of industrialist Ratan Tata. Twitterati Slams him for sharing such derogatory tweets and later he removes that tweet from his account.
