  • Due to his father’s frequent transfers, he did his schooling in different places including Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and Sikkim.
  • Yash’s mother was diagnosed with cancer when he was in class 12. He had to halt his studies for some time due to her treatment.
  • He completed his graduation in Madhya Pradesh. After completing his graduation, he took acting workshops in Roshan Taneja School of Acting and also learned dance from Shiamak Davar‘s dance institute.
  • Since his childhood, he was passionate about acting. He paid more attention to extracurricular activities (such as plays) than studies. He participated in plays without caring much about the role assigned to him and enjoyed being on stage. That’s how he realised his passion for acting.
  • Yash Dasgupta began his career as a model and appeared in many television and print advertisements. In 2006, he won the Glam King title in the Unish Kuri Streax Glam Hunt held in Kolkata.
