Yuzuru Hanyu is a Japanese who is a popular Japanese figure Skater by profession. He is the first Asian man to win an Olympic gold medal in men’s singles skating. He was the youngest male skater to win the Olympic championship since Dick Button in 1948 at the age of nineteen.

He also became the first guy since Button’s back-to-back Olympic gold medals in 1948 and 1952 to win two straight gold medals. Hanyu became the first skater in history to successfully perform a quadruple loop during a competition at the 2016 CS Autumn Classic International.

He completed his early schooling at Nanakita Elementary and Junior High School, Japan.

After that, he enrolled himself at Tohoku High School followed by Waseda University from where he completed his graduation. From the very beginning of his childhood, he was more interested in sports rather than in studying.
