Career

In the 2005 musical comedy The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie, which he wrote and directed with his elder brother, he made his acting debut at the tender age of six. It’s a rock band, but they’re pretending to be members.

It tells the story of the band’s ups and downs after its initial success and the ensuing internal strife that finally leads to its dissolution before it is eventually reformed. Having Nat’s band in the shot adds positive energy to the scene.

He and his buddies Joshua Kaye, Thomas Batuello, and David Levi developed the Silver Boulders series of self-portraits as youngsters. Among the other characters in this ensemble are the brothers’ real-life cousin Jesse Draper as the group’s babysitter, Draper’s husband, Michael Wolff as their widowed accordion-playing father, and their real-life friends Cooper Pillot and Cole Hawkins as band members.
