Alexis Bledel or Kimberly Alexis Bledel is an American actress and model who is very well known for her role in Gilmore Girls and The Handmaid’s tale. She started in Gilmore Girls from 2000 to 2007 and later she went on to reprise her role in the rendition of the same on Netflix in 2016.
She has won the Teen Choice and various other accolades for her role in Gilmore Girls. In 2017 she was nominated for an outstanding actress in a supporting role in the television series called The Handmaid’s tale.

Alexis was always a shy girl and hence her mother encouraged her to attend community theatre. She was spotted by a modeling agency while she was at a shopping mall. Consequently, she was offered to work as a fashion model. It is not known if she has taken any special training to polish her acting skills.
