Anderson Hays Cooper or Anderson Cooper is an American who is a popular American Broadcast Journalist and political commentator by profession. He serves as the principal host of CNN’s news program Anderson Cooper 360°. He also works as a reporter on CBS News’ 60 Minutes.
Cooper came out as homosexual in 2012, according to The New York Times, becoming “the most renowned openly gay journalist on American television” at the time. Cooper became the first LGBT person to moderate a presidential debate in 2016.
