Disha Madan was born on Monday, 9 March 1992 (age 28 years; as in 2020) in Bangalore. Her zodiac sign is Pisces.

She graduated from Bangalore’s Mount Carmel College. Disha was inclined towards dance from a very young age. She started learning Bharatanatyam when she was just three years old. She, later attended Bangalore’s Shivapriya Dance School to learn dance. Thereafter, she got trained by Dr. Sanjay Shantaram.

Career

Disha Madan started her career as a dancer in 2010 by taking part in “Karnataka Vaibhav” in Singapore. Subsequently, she attended the Karnataka Chitra Kala Parishath in Bangalore in 2012. In the same year, Disha started an online dance tutorial page, “The TipTap Movement.” She, then started teaching different dance forms to college students. In 2013, she made to the mega audition of the dance reality show, “Dance India Dance” season 4. However, she did not get selected for the show.

In 2014, she participated in the dance reality show, “Dancing Star.” She partnered with the celebrity, Tsunami Kitty and together they won the show. In the same year, Disha made her acting debut with the Kannada TV serial, “Kulbhadhu” in which she played the role of ‘Vachana.’

While shooting for the show, Disha started making funny and lip syncing videos for the musically app (Later, changed to TikTok) and gained huge popularity. Madan had more than 3 million followers on TikTok.

In 2020, she bagged the role of ‘Malini’ in the Kannada film, “French Biriyani.” Disha has also launched her dance academy named “Dancecrop” in Bangalore.
