Sir Elton Hercules John or Reginald Kenneth Dwight, popularly known as Elton John is an English who is a famous singer, composer, painter, and songwriter by profession. Since 1967, John has collaborated with lyricist Bernie Taupin on over 30 albums, selling over 300 million records and becoming one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
He has had more than fifty Top 40 singles in the UK and the US, including eight in the UK and nine in the US, as well as seven consecutive number-one albums in the US. His tribute record “Candle in the Wind 1997,” which was rewritten in homage to Diana, Princess of Wales, sold over 33 million copies.
