Gabriella wanted to be part of the fashion world since her teenage and started working as a model at the age of 16.

In 2009, when IPL was held in South Africa, she contested in Miss Indian Premier League (IPL) Bollywood title along with 48 other South African contestants. She represented the IPL team ‘Deccan Chargers’ and received 14,000 votes to seal the third spot.
