Gaurav Alugh was born on 18 January 1990 (age 29 years; as in 2019) in Delhi, India. He did his schooling from St. Columba’s School, New Delhi and St. George’s College, Mussoorie. After completing his schooling, Alugh went to the University of Delhi to pursue Economics Honours. Gaurav also attended Indian Institute of Learning and Advanced Development (INLEAD) in Gurgaon.
He always aspired to be an artist and has done a professional course in acting from Barry John’s Acting Studio in Delhi. He has worked as an actor in a few theatre productions, short films, and has also done a few modelling assignments.
He has, shortly, worked as a Brand Consultant and Manager in FAT Chef before contesting in “Roadies.”

Career
Gaurav made his TV debut with the youth reality show “MTV Roadies X4.” He became a popular face among the audience and was one of the top 3 finalists of Roadies X4.
Next, he appeared as a ‘cop’ in the finale of season 2 of the fiction series “24.” Subsequently, he played the role of ‘Shrewd Tenant,’ the protagonist in “Savdhan India.” He appeared in the role of the ex-boyfriend of the lead in the web series “Bombae.”
He has featured in the music video of “Kitna Tadpa Hun” and the TV commercial of “Go Oil.” He has also featured in short films like “Notification,” “Patti,” and “Tiny Shorts.”
Gaurav has played the role of ‘Vikaas Thakur’ in the supernatural drama “Qayamat Ki Raat.”
In addition to acting, he loves to write songs, poems, and scripts. He has even penned down some dialogues for a few ad commercials and short films.
In 2018, he appeared as a wild card contestant in the 11th season of MTV’s dating reality show “Splitsvilla,” and emerged as the winner along with his best friend, Shruti Sinha.
