Guy Hershberg was born in the Haifa City of Israel. He studied music at the Rubin Academy of Music (now the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance), Jerusalem. He used to teach Harmony and Piano at the Israel Arts and Science Academy, Jerusalem.
