- Jayalalithaa’s original name was “Komalavalli”, which was later changed to “Jayalaithaa.”
- Her father died when she was just 2 years old, and her brother died in the 90s.
- She learned Bharatnatyam at the age of 3.
- She was a bright student and even joined Stella Maris College in Chennai to study law but her mother wanted her to join the film industry, so she did so.
