Noorin Shereef is an Indian model and actor who mainly works in South Indian films. She won the local beauty pageant ‘Miss Kerala Fitness and Fashion’ title in 2017.


Noorin Shereef was born on Saturday, 3 April 1999 (age 22 years; as of 2021) in Kundara, Kollam, Kerala. Noorin did her schooling at T.K.M. Centenary Public School, Kollam, Kerala. She did an Integrated MBA from Member Sree Narayana Pillai Institute of Management & Technology, Chavara, Kerala. [1] She did her training in dancing at Zarinans Dance Company, Kerala, and Natyakalashektra School of Dance and Music in Kollam, Kerala.

In 2017, she participated in the beauty contest ‘Miss Kerala Fitness and Fashion’ and won the title.

At that time, she used to make Dubsmash videos through which she gained immense popularity. Later, she was spotted by the Indian director Omar Lulu, who offered her a role in the Malayalam film ‘Chunkzz’ (2017). She played the role of Anna in the film.

In 2018, she has was featured in the TV commercial for ‘Muttanisseril Granites.’


She then appeared in the Malayalam romantic comedy film ‘Oru Adaar Love’ (2019) as Gadha John, starring the famous South Indian actors Priya Prakash Varrier and Roshan Abdul Rahoof in the lead roles. The film was dubbed in various languages such as Tamil with the same title, in Kannada as ‘Kirik Love Story,’ and in Telugu as ‘Lover’s Day.’

Noorin Shereef appeared in the Telugu film ‘Oollalla Oollalla’ in 2020. She has worked as a model in the print advertisements for Aero Institute of Technology and Diva Women’s Clothing Store.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, she started uploading videos related to her personal life on her self titled YouTube channel. As of September 2021, she has 142K subscribers on her YouTube channel.

  • In an interview, when she was asked how she thought of becoming an actor. She replied,

    There was no way to become part of the cinema. No one in my family is in the film field. I was interested in acting since childhood. I still rehearse before the mirror to speak when I receive awards. I was fortunate that I got a chance in a good movie. Earlier, my only aim was to become an actor. It was like a dream. Nowadays, I pay attention on how other actors perform.”

The things which she failed to do then is now possible for me. She comes with me everywhere. Dad will also come if he is free. There are some family members who don’t agree with me working in films. I am not afraid of anyone as I have the support of my parents. They know me.”

  • During an interview, she talked about her curly hair. She said,

    I didn’t like my hair. I loved to see girls making braids on their hair while we were going to schools. I couldn’t do it well, because it was too curly. I liked to straighten my hair then. Now, everyone notices me with my curly hair. So, I started to feel that my hair is nice. Usually, people used to mock me when I let my hair loose. I was sad to hear the teases.”
