Controversy	In 2017, Nusraat Faria landed into trouble with the release of her song Allah Meharbaan under the label of Jazz Multimedia. Many people claimed that it was a religious song. A notice was issued to Jazz Multimedia to remove the video. Nusraat Faria was also criticised for wearing revealing clothes in the song. After sometime, updated version of the song was released, by the name Yaara Meharban.[4]

Nusraat Faria is a Bangladeshi actress, model, singer, television host, and radio jockey who works in Bangladesh and India.

In an interview, Nusraat said that she was a scholarship holder from class 8th.

She belongs to a conservative family.

Nusraat Faria, in her childhood, wanted to become an army officer. But over time, she realised her passion for acting and made her way to the media industry.

While she was in school, she used to take part in debate competitions, and she is a national level debate champion in 2010 and 2011.

She got married to Rony Riad Rashid, after dating him for seven years. They got engaged on March 21, 2020. She shared her love story with a reporter from The Times of India.I met Rony through a common friend at a party and became friends. What attracted me towards him was his intellect – the way he finds joy in little things is amazing. So when he proposed to me, I took a second to give my nod.”[5]

Her father-in-law, M Harun-Ar-Rashid, is the Chief of Army Staff of the Bangladesh Army.

Nusraat Faria is a religious person. She offers namaz only once a day because of her busy schedule. She also said thatMy mother told me to first put my left foot, whenever going out of the house and before any performance or shoot, I recite the duas, as they give me confidence.”[6]

She is also a dubbing voice over artist.

Reportedly, she signed her first Bollywood movie, “Gawa, The Witness” opposite Imran Hashmi. Later, she withdrew from the project to avoid any controversies.

In an interview, Nusraat shared that she is also called, “Imraan Hashmi of Tollygunge.” She further added,The directors are putting kissing scenes in every film. I myself sometimes wonder if I am going to be Imran of Tollywood?”

Her favourite actor from Tollywood is Ankush. While talking about him she said,My first picture with him was Ashiki. He helped me a lot. Without him, I would not have been able to give a good performance.”
