Controversies	• In 2020, she revealed that she had broken-up with Melvin Louis citing the reason that he had cheated on her. Following the revelation, they both started to throw insults on each other on their social media accounts. She started her carer as a model and began working on ad films. She has done more than 50 ad commercials, some of them with celebrities like with Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, etc.

Sana was initially set to make her Tamil debut with the film “Kettavan” (2008), but she was dropped out of it. After the lead actor of the film, “Silambattam” (2008), Silambarasan saw her in an ad film with Shah Rukh Khan, he contacted her for the film Silambattam. She accepted the offer, marking her Tamil debut with the film.
