She spent her childhood in Dubai, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. During childhood, she frequently went on a pilgrimage to Mecca with her mother. She was pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce when she got married to Aamir Liaquat Hussain. A pilgrimage to Mecca after her marriage became a divine revelation to her after which she started wearing a hijab in 2004. After completing her LLB, she enrolled as a lawyer with the Karachi Bar Association. Thereafter, she pursued a master’s degree in Economics. Later, she earned a doctorate degree in Quran and Sunnah from the University of Karachi, Pakistan.

In 2020, Aamir Liaquat Hussain divorced Syeda over the phone. She revealed the news via an Instagram post, which read,
Salam. I think its time I bring about some clarity regarding my relationship with my ex husband Aamir Liaquat. He has divorced me. However, divorcing me is one thing, but doing it infront of Tuba on call at her request, was perhaps the most painful and traumatic thing for my children and I. I rest my case to Allah.”
Aamir Liaquat’s marriage to Syeda Tuba Anwar lasted for around three years. In February 2022, Amir got married to an 18-year-old girl Syeda Dania Shah, who filed for a divorce in May 2022.

On 9 June 2022, Aamir Liaquat Hussain was found unconscious at his home in Khudadad Colony, Karachi, after which he was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead.

Career
She ventured into the entertainment industry before her marriage as a kids’ show host. After her marriage, she presented the TV show ‘Sehat Sab Kay Liye’ on PTV News in which she interviewed various doctors and medical specialists. She has also worked with Geo TV as an outsourced person. She came into the limelight with the TV show ‘Choti Si Neki,’ which was telecast on Geo TV. Simultaneously, she also worked in her husband’s production house which handled the projects of the Pakistani TV channel Geo TV. She started her journey as a TV host with the show ‘Ramzan Pakistan’ on Hum TV in 2019. Bushra Aamir was nominated for the Best Ramadan Transmission Host of The Year Award Female at Pakistan Achievement Awards International (2019).

She worked as a lecturer/visiting faculty for the spring 2019 semester at Iqra University, Karachi. In 2022, she was the Ramazan Transmission host on TVOne Pakistan. Her YouTube channel ‘Insight with Bushra’ features various videos of Bushra in which she talks about religion and lifestyle. As of 2022, she has 24.4k followers on her channel.
