Vaishnavi Dhanraj was born on 25 August 1988 (age 30 years; as in 2018) in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. She attended Blind Relief Association’s Mundle High School, Nagpur and went to Shivaji Science College, Nagpur to pursue graduation. She always dreamt of becoming an actress and her parents supported her to achieve her dream. They always accompanied her to the auditions. Vaishnavi was earlier named Vaishnavi Bhoyar, but she adopted her father’s surname after doing her first serial.

Vaishnavi started her acting career with the TV serial “Karam Apnaa Apnaa,” in which she played the role of ‘Aastha Kapoor.’ In 2009, she featured as a sub-inspector in the Sony TV’s “CID.”

Next, she appeared in “Na Aana Is Des Laado,” where she played the main protagonist. Subsequently, she appeared in TV serials like “Crime Petrol,” “Hum Ne Li Hai- Shapath,” “Parvarrish- Kuchh Khattee Kuch Meethi,” and “Mahabharat.”
In March 2014, she was approached by Aaj Tak to portray the role of Nirbhaya in their social awareness show “Satyagraha.”

In June 2017, Vaishnavi featured in the short film “Drinks Drama Aur Dhokha.”
