Anita date was born on 31 October 1980 (age 38 years; as in 2018) in Nashik, Maharashtra, India. She did her schooling from M. R. Sarda Kanya Vidya Mandir, Nashik and went to Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune University, Pune to pursue Master of Arts. She was inclined towards acting right from her childhood and participated in a number of plays and theatre in her school days. Some of the school time plays in which she participated are ‘Uney Pure Shahar Ek,’ ‘Mahasagar,’ ‘Kon Mhantay Takka Dila,’ ‘Tichi 17 Prakarne,’ ‘Necropolice,’ ‘Govinda Ghya Kuni Gopala Ghya,’ ‘A Bhau Doka Nako Khau,’ and ‘Bai G Kamalach Zali.’

Career

Anita started her career in 2008 with the Marathi film, “Sanai Choughade.” Subsequently, she appeared in “Coffee Ani Barach Kahi,” “Ajoba,” “Popat,” “Mynah,” “Gandha,” “Seema,” “Ek Paying Ghost,” “Jogwa,” “Adgula Madgula.”

She made her Marathi TV debut with Dar Ughda Na Gade in 2009. Anita, then, appeared in Marathi shows like Agnihotra, Manthan, Anamika, and Eka Lagnachi Teesri Goshta. She has also appeared in Hindi daily soap operas like Balveer, Bhai Bhaiya Aur Brothers, and Bandini.

In 2012, she made her Bollywood debut with “Aiyyaa,” in which she played the role of Maina. She has also appeared in children’s film, “Zor Lagaa Ke…Haiya.”

In 2017, Anita gave a comedy performance at the Zee Natya Gaurav Awards.
